Diagnostic Testing is offered at CCHD and will be performed at the MO Public Health lab or the CDC.  Blood draws are available for West Nile Virus, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, STD's, and numerous other diseases.  Stool cultures can test for Giardia, Salmonella, E. Coli and other illnesses.  Appointments are necessary and must be referred to the communicable disease nurse.
     
Cholesterol Screening/Lipid Profile is offered at CCHD the first three Friday mornings every other month by appointment.  There is a $15 donation for the lipid profile.

Blood Sugar Screenings are held every Tuesday & Friday.  No appointment is necessary.

Blood Pressure Screenings are held every Tuesday & Friday.  No appointment is necessary.

Tuberculin Skin Tests are provided for employment or any other requirement.  A single step test is $3.00 and a two step test is $6.00.  An appointment is necessary.

Pregnancy Tests are provided on Tuesdays & Fridays for a $2.00 donation.  No appointment is necessary.   

Health Education Programs are available by contacting CCHD.  Programs cover a variety of topics and can be presented to any group, business, school or organization.  There are also a number of health-related materials available at CCHD.  All programs are offered free of charge.
